Marla Hair first opened its doors to Buckhurst Hill and Essex in 2018; with its founder and lead stylist Jessica Patching looking to create a specialist hair extension and hair colour salon like no other.

After many years spent as a Wella Technical Educator, celebrated session stylist working at Fashion Weeks' across the globe and most recently, managing Vixen & Blush's popular salon in Hoxton,
East London, Jessica identified a lack of premium and natural looking hair extensions
that are colour matched personalised for each and every client.
​
But more than caring purely about the technique of hair extensions, Jessica also knew it necessary to create a rarely experienced level of service too. Where hair extensions are made to be pleasurable rather than painful and comfortable rather than uncomfortable.
​
Opening the salon on Queen's Road in Buckhurst Hill, has allowed Jessica to create an experience usually found in a luxury West End salon at a fraction of the cost whilst also maintaining a contemporary edge that wouldn't be found out of place in Shoreditch or wider parts of East London.
 
Jessica and her team at Marla understand just how daunting the decision to have hair extensions or a colour change can be and so work hard to provide advice and knowledge throughout the process from the initial consultation through to ongoing aftercare.
